The Trip

Raul rented a car so that he, Sally, and I could take Kendra and Alex to Chichen Itza. It's about a two hour drive from Cancun.

The Photos

The Castillo de Kukulcan is awesome. So big and so pretty. It's the first thing you see after the main entrance.

Climbing down the Castillo. It's a little frightful, but not as bad as the Nohuch Mul pyramid at Coba. That one is steeper and nearly twice as tall the Castillo, plus there's no guide rope.

Memorable Moments

On the return trip back to Cancun we took the old road that passes through Valladolid and several small towns. Quaint.
