Kendra got this henna tattoo at the market downtown. The lady asked for 350 pesos (about $30) but settled for 200 pesos, which was all Kendra had. Kendra thinks she got a good deal!

Sarah, all dolled up for a night on the town. Raul and Sally invited us to visit a club one night so Jocelyn did a makeover. What do you think?

Dinner at Maria Bonita Restaurante. Nice place. Two mariachi bands serenaded us until we gave them some money. A goofy photographer put these big sombreros on us and snapped a picture so we had to pay him off also.

Memorable Moments

Jocelyn and Monique joined a tour group one night that visited four different clubs. They still made it home before breakfast. We have no photos of them from that night, and I hope that no one else does either.

Near all the clubs is an open air marketplace. You can get your hair braided, have your photo taken with a monkey, watch an artist create fantasy scenes using cans of spray paint. And get a beer for a buck.
