Around the Jardín

The Center of it All

The Story

The heart of San Miguel is the Jardín, the town square. This little park bustles with activity from dawn until the wee hours of the morning (or so we hear).

The Photos

The Parrochia church dominates one side of the Jardín. It's a beautiful and imposing building.

We make the scene one night. Candy, Betty, Jessica, Kendra, Jocelyn.

This block near the Jardín is typical of San Miguel-- cobblestone streets and brightly colored adobe buildings.

Memorable Moments

The steep streets and rough surfaces meant that we had lots of sore feet and legs by the end of the day. You can get a lot of exercise around here.
